There were no silly questions today, we were all encouraged to ask, ask, ask, at this fantastic watercolour session inspired by colour, nature and light. Our experienced tutor, Nicky Hunter, more than achieved her aim for us to watercolour better, as she taught us how to work light to dark, thin to thick, and warm to cool, ie using traditional watercolour methods. Mixing our colours to various thicknesses we worked on this fantastic fox for several hours, stopping only for refreshments and a delicious two-course lunch. The best thing was that this amazing workshop was heavily subsidised by Art in East Herts as part of their Arts and culture initiative. Full marks all round to everyone for their amazing work today!
